Tannat is a variety of original grape of the southwest of France, from which red wine is obtained. At the present time the main cultures are in France and Uruguay, constituting in this country the more outstanding variety of wines and with which it is identified internationally.
The Tannat is a wine of monovarietal type color ruby throwing to the garnet, aroma annoys, on bottom of evolved fruits.
